Dato Abdul Malik Mydin (born 1975) is a Malaysian solo long-distance swimmer, hailing from Penang. He was notable as the first Malaysian and Southeast Asian to swim across the English Channel on 3 August 2003, successfully completing the journey in 17 hours and 42 minutes. ==Athletic career== Abdul swimmer, who finished sixth in a 26 km on the Lake Zurich Swim in Switzerland in August 2002,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://ch.srichinmoyraces.org/files/ch/Results-Marathon-Swim-2002.pdf )〕 among 22 international swimmers.
